Common Media Posting Issues

If you are having trouble uploading or posting photos, videos, or other supported media on CND, the issue may be related to the specific file, browser behavior, old cached site data, or a current site-side issue.

Things to Check

Before opening a Support Ticket, please try the following:

- for photos, try using .jpeg, .jpg, .gif, or .png files
- avoid .tiff or Apple HEIC files when possible
- if posting a GIF, upload it as a photo rather than a video
- GIFs should have 100 frames or fewer and be 20 FPS or less
- wait for the thumbnail preview before posting
- try uploading a smaller version of the file
- try uploading a different photo or video to see whether the issue is limited to one file
- try refreshing the page
- sign out and back in
- clear your browser cache
- try using a different browser
- try another device if mobile upload is not working

Media Standards Still Apply

All uploaded media must follow CND Community Standards, even if the media is not publicly visible or is placed in an album with limited visibility.

CND may remove media that does not meet Community Standards or is not relevant to the purpose of CND.

Opening a Support Ticket

If the issue continues, go to Support Inbox and open a new support ticket.

Please include:

- what you were trying to upload or post
- where you were trying to post it
- what happened
- your device type
- your browser
- a screenshot or error message if available
