Community Standards for Media

CND encourages members to share photos and videos that are relevant to the purpose of Couples Next Door and respectful of the community.

These standards apply to photos, videos, albums, profile images, cover images, wall media, and any other media uploaded or shared on CND, regardless of privacy setting.

Not Allowed

Media may not include:

- individuals under 18 years old
- drugs, drug paraphernalia, or drug-related content
- advertisements, promotions, or references to businesses, sites, events, or organizations not approved by CND
- copyrighted media or media the member does not have the right to post
- animals, dead or alive
- weapons, weapon-related content, violence, or violent conduct
- memes, generic images, landscapes, public media, stock images, or other media not relevant to CND
- political content, including voting-related or political clothing
- screenshots of media
- contact information outside of CND, including phone numbers, email addresses, messaging-app handles, websites, or business contact information not approved by CND
- AI-generated media, AI-edited media, cartoons, renderings, or synthetic images
- heavily edited, heavily filtered, or misleading media

People Shown in Media

Media containing people who are not CND members is prohibited, whether they appear directly or in the background.

Media containing other CND members may only be posted with express permission from those individuals.

If another CND member appears in a photo or video, the posting member may be required to identify the member by screen name in the media description or tag/mention the member if the site allows it.

Single Member Media

Single male and single female members must be in the media they post.

If another person appears in media posted by a single member, that person must be a CND member, must have given permission for the media to be posted, and must be identified by screen name in the media description or tagged/mentioned if the site allows it.

Profile Images

Every CND profile is required to have a profile image.

Profile images must be real images of the individual or individuals associated with the account.

Faces are not required.

Profile images may not include exposed genitals or exposed female nipples. Sheer or see-through fabric is allowed.

Profile images and cover images may be visible to all registered members and should be selected with that in mind.

Enforcement

CND may remove media that does not follow Community Standards or is not relevant to the purpose of CND.

CND may also take additional action when media creates safety concerns, policy violations, consent concerns, authenticity concerns, copyright/provenance concerns, or operational risk to the community.
