Community Safety Standards – Consent

Couples Next Door (CND) is committed to maintaining a respectful environment where adults can express themselves and their desires responsibly. These standards apply on the CND platform, at events hosted by CND, and at events posted by members on CND. The following guidelines outline core safety expectations for participation in the community.

Consent

Consent is required prior to any sexual interaction, whether virtual or physical.

Consent is an agreement between individuals to engage in sexual activity and must be clearly, freely, and affirmatively communicated. A verbal and affirmative expression of consent helps ensure respect for personal boundaries.

Consent cannot be given by individuals who are underage, intoxicated, incapacitated by drugs or alcohol, asleep, or unconscious. Any agreement obtained through pressure, intimidation, coercion, or threat is not considered consent.

Violations of consent are taken seriously. CND may take immediate action, including removal from events and/or the platform, when consent standards are violated.

CND does not mediate personal or interpersonal disputes. Intervention occurs only when behavior intersects with Community Standards, safety concerns, or operational risk to the community.
